- Tramagal’s MFTE Facility Marks Milestone with Family Tradition and Training Initiatives
Tramagal, Portugal — Daimler Trucks Tuesday celebrated the 60th anniversary of truck manufacturing at the Mitsubishi Fuso plant in Tramagal, Portugal.
As a significant regional employer and Portugal’s third-largest automobile manufacturer, MFTE recently celebrated a historic production milestone, manufacturing an impressive 11,800 trucks in 2023, a record for the plant.
At the heart of MFTE’s success are its dedicated employees, many of whom represent multi-generational family legacies within the company. A testament to this tradition is Paulo Simão, Head of Procurement at MFTE. Following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, who both dedicated their careers to MFTE, Simão continues the family tradition, which now includes his son Miguel, currently working in maintenance.
