Essen, Germany — German energy conglomerate E.ON said Tuesday that the Supervisory Board of E.ON SE appointed Marc Spieker as new Chief Operating Officer Commercial and Nadia Jakobi as Chief Financial Officer effective June 1, 2024, aiming to drive growth in the energy sector.
Erich Clementi, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, was quoted as saying:
“It speaks to the strength and continuous development of E.ON’s management team that we are able to draw on convincing leaders from within the company for the reorganization of the Management Board.”
About Marc Spieker
Marc Spieker has been Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2017, where he began his career 15 years earlier, will now be responsible for the Customer Solutions division. He is the successor or Patrick Lammers.
About Nadia Jakobi
Nadia Jakobi, who is currently Chairwoman of the Management Board of E.ON Energy Markets, started her career at E.ON in 2001 and returned to E.ON in 2019 after a three years stint at Uniper. Most recently, she set up the new energy optimization and trading unit for the Group.
