He succeeds Georg Pölzl, who held the position for over a decade and became the longest-serving General Director in the company’s history.

A Long-Standing Leadership Journey

Born in Villach, Oblin began his career at Austrian Post as Head of Strategy and Group Development. His ascent through the company continued in 2012 when he was appointed Chief Financial Officer, followed by his role as Deputy CEO in January 2019, during which he also took charge of the Mail & Direct Mail Division.
