Potisk-Eibensteiner brings extensive financial and management experience, overseeing financial functions and key service areas. She will be responsible for all financial functions as well as Group Real Estate, Group IT & Purchasing and Group Legal, and thus for key management and service functions.
At bank99, she will take on an active Supervisory Board role with a focus on the finance and IT agendas.
She is the first woman on the Austrian Post Management Board.
Barbara Potisk-Eibensteiner was born in Graz in 1968 and studied business administration with a focus on banking and insurance at the Karl-Franzens-University in Graz. She started her career at Creditanstalt in 1991. In 1995, she became Group Treasurer of Böhler-Uddeholm AG.
In 2007, she moved to the listed company RHI AG, where she worked as CFO from 2012 to 2017 until the completed merger with Magnesita.
Barbara Potisk-Eibensteiner has been Group CFO of the paper and pulp group Heinzel Group since 2017. Barbara Potisk-Eibensteiner is Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of the listed company Euro Telesites AG.
