Mon Sep 29 2024 – 08:42:40 UTC DHL Supply Chain announced the extension of its logistics partnership with Volkswagen Slovakia. Effective until 2029, this long-term agreement continues a collaboration that began in 2010.
Following a successful selection process, DHL remains Volkswagen Slovakia’s key logistics partner, emphasizing its pivotal role in automotive manufacturing.

Juraj Mráz, Head of Logistics at Volkswagen Slovakia said in a press release.
Volkswagen’s Bratislava plant
Under this renewed contract, DHL will manage intra-company logistics at Volkswagen’s Bratislava plant, ensuring smooth production by delivering necessary components precisely when needed. With over 2,400 DHL employees on site, the team manages freight, material handling, and packaging services across an expansive 2-square-kilometer facility producing eight vehicle models under four different Volkswagen Group brands.
