Mon Oct 21 08:22:30 -0000 2024 UTC– The new Crypto stamp “Drache” (German for dragon) released by Austrian Post, available in four countries, accompanied by a limited comic book with integrated NFT.

The stamp features a dragon design and has an NFC chip for authenticity. The comic book includes unique NFTs related to the story and AR activation. Limited to 2,000 copies, available online and at selected events.

The Crypto stamp is issued in an edition of 45,000. It has a face value of 9.90 euros and can be used like a normal stamp for franking letters.

Like its immediate predecessors, it has an integrated NFC chip for authentication. The mythical creature is the creation of artist Lisa Filzi, who also designed the Crypto stamp Safe.

The new Crypto stamp has been slightly redesigned, with the depiction of the dragon adorning not only the detachable stamp, but the entire card.

The dragon is the world’s first multilateral crypto stamp: In addition to the Netherlands and Luxembourg, Belgium is now also on board, which means that all Benelux countries are represented together with Austria. The digital twin of the Crypto stamp appears in one of the five characteristic colors
