• UPDATE: French Logistics Firm Vallée Group Adds First Mercedes-Benz eActros 600, Orders 62 New Diesel Trucks
LEINFELDEN-ECHTERDINGEN, Germany – The French logistics company Vallée Group has taken delivery of its first all-electric Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 and simultaneously put a new charging infrastructure into operation.
The firm also purchased 62 new Actros L diesel trucks equipped with the latest aerodynamically optimized ProCabin.
What is new?
On December 19, Daimler Truck announced that the Normandy-based Vallée Group has added the first Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 to its fleet of 650 vehicles. The company, which employs around 850 people, also inaugurated a new charging facility at its headquarters, featuring a 400 kW fast-charging station and three 240 kW charging points. Two additional eActros 600 trucks are scheduled for delivery in the coming days.
Fleet Modernization Details
In addition to its entry into electric mobility, Vallée Group is modernizing its conventional fleet with an order for 62 Mercedes-Benz Actros L 1848 trucks. These vehicles are fitted with the new ProCabin, which, combined with an updated powertrain, can achieve fuel savings of up to 4%. The new diesel trucks are also equipped with the G291 transmission and a new rear axle ratio designed to improve maneuvering and driving performance.
About the eActros 600
The Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 features a battery capacity of over 600 kWh, enabling a range of 500 kilometers without intermediate charging with a gross combination mass of 40 tons. The vehicle uses three lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs, totaling 621 kWh of installed capacity. The truck is designed for a service life of up to 1.2 million kilometers in ten years of operation. The model, which began customer deliveries in December 2024, was named “International Truck of the Year 2025” and has completed extensive testing tours across Europe, including a 15,000-kilometer trip through 22 countries.
