- Karin Rådström to succeed Martin Daum as Daimler Truck CEO
September 04 2024 16:33:19 UTC– Karin Rådström will become the new CEO of Daimler Truck, succeeding Martin Daum as per the decision of the Supervisory Board.
The Board extended the appointment of Karin Rådström as a member of the Board of Management for another five years. Her current contract, set to expire on January 31, 2024, will now run through January 31, 2029.
Joe Kaeser, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, praised Rådström for her exemplary leadership in a challenging environment. Kaeser highlighted her focus on enhancing performance culture, promoting diversity, and strengthening customer orientation.
Rådström began her career at Scania in 2004. Her reappointment is said to be a strategic move to “driving the growth and transformation of Mercedes-Benz Trucks”. In a generational change, she follows Martin Daum, as per a previous decision of the board in September.
