Surventis Names Rebecca Koch Chief HR Officer

MUENSTER, Germany — Surventis, a coating technologies company, appointed Dr. Rebecca Koch as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and a member of its Executive Committee.

Koch’s appointment is effective September 1, 2026, Surventis said in an emailed press release today. She will focus on developing the company’s global HR organization, corporate culture, leadership, and human resources to support growth and performance goals.

Leadership Role

Jens Luehring, CEO of Surventis, said Koch brings extensive HR leadership experience. He noted her work in various industries, internationally, and at scale.

Experience and Focus

Koch has over 15 years of international HR leadership experience. She previously worked for the software group Nemetschek and DB Schenker, where she managed HR for Europe, overseeing up to 50,000 employees.

Before that, Koch held several HR leadership positions at the U.S. medical technology company Becton Dickinson. Her roles included leading talent and culture in Greater Asia from Singapore. She also led HR development and change management at airberlin and began her career at Bain & Company.

Koch studied business mathematics, holds a doctorate in behavioral finance, and completed the International Directors Programme at INSEAD Business School. She regularly publishes and speaks on artificial intelligence and its impact on human resources.

Previous Role

Koch succeeds Markus Dinslacken. Luehring thanked Dinslacken for his work in guiding the HR organization through its spin-off from BASF.
