Whittier, California – Daimler Truck AG Thursday announced the initial rollout of its electric Rizon trucks in California. The deployment involves 20 e18L Rizon Trucks, designed to cater to a diverse customer base.
Notably, LA Sanitation & Environment (LASAN) is integrating seven of these trucks, each equipped with stake bed bodies, into its operations. This integration highlights the public sector’s commitment to adopting greener practices.
In the private sector, Goodwill Industries of San Diego County is enhancing its fleet with an e18L Rizon dry van box truck, joining the movement towards environmental responsibility. Similarly, Diamond Environmental has incorporated four e18L Rizon trucks, and Ecorecycling is adding three e18L Rizon dry van trucks to their operations.
In addition, Velocity Truck Rental and Leasing has received five e18L Rizon box trucks, making them available for immediate rental or lease. This accessibility furthers the reach of electric vehicles (EVs) in California’s commercial transportation.
