  • Hikma launches Clindamycin in 5% Dextrose Injection in the US.

September 03 2024 08:10:55 UTC– Hikma Pharmaceuticals has launched a new antibiotic product in the U.S. called Clindamycin in 5% Dextrose Injection.

This medication is available in three different doses: 300mg/50mL, 600mg/50mL, and 900mg/50mL. It comes in a vial and is used to treat a wide range of infections, such as severe blood infections (septicemia), abdominal infections, lung infections, and infections related to bones, joints, and skin.

In the past year, the U.S. market for these Clindamycin injections generated around $22 million in sales. Hikma, which is one of the top three suppliers of generic injectable medicines in the U.S., continues to expand its product offerings with this new launch.
