August 27 2024 08:00:10 UTC– ABB is acquiring Födisch Group to enhance their emission monitoring systems, expanding their offerings and improving competitiveness.

Used in power plants, waste incineration facilities, the paper, glass and cement industries, Födisch Group’s analyzer and dust solutions enable companies to cost-effectively track emissions of pollutants.

The acquisition brings in revenue of about €50 million and 250 employees.

Födisch Group provides advanced solutions for energy and industrial sectors, focusing on environmental challenges. This move aligns with ABB’s commitment to sustainability and innovation, a press release said.

Headquartered in Markranstädt, Germany, where it operates a 3,000 m2 production facility, and with further facilities across Germany, the Netherlands, and China, Födisch Group offers solutions for addressing environmental, inspection and certification challenges across industries.
