BRUSSELS, Belgium — Sofina SA’s net asset value rose 6.8% in the first half of 2026 to EUR 11.5 billion as of June 30.

Sofina SA said in an emailed press release today that its Net Asset Value (NAV) grew by 6.8% in the first half of 2026, reaching EUR 11.5 billion as of June 30. The NAV per share stood at EUR 326, marking an increase compared to six months prior.

Financial Performance

The company attributed its solid NAV growth to continued value creation across various growth stages and sectors. This performance was supported by strong results from its largest private equity funds and several companies within the Sofina Direct portfolio.

Investment Activity

Sofina experienced an active period for both investments and divestments. Cybersecurity emerged as an accelerating theme within its portfolio. CEO Harold Boël noted that the first half of 2026 demonstrated the strength of Sofina’s diversified investment model. He added that the Private Funds strategy was a significant driver of performance, reflecting the quality of the underlying portfolio and partnerships with fund managers. Boël said deployments and commitments have increased, making 2026 the firm’s most active year yet for Sofina Private Funds, while staying selective.

On the Sofina Direct side, Sofina added several new assets across sectors and geographies. It also generated returns through divestments, the company said.

Transparency and Strategy

Sofina enhanced transparency by disclosing its top 10 biggest indirect holdings through Sofina Private Funds. This move aims to highlight the group’s structural exposure to innovation trends. The portfolio remains diversified across sectors, geographies, and growth stages, supporting Sofina’s long-term approach through different market cycles.
