Anaheim, California – Airbus said Tuesday German helicopter emergency medical services operator DRF Luftrettung will order at least seven new emergency helicopters.

The new version of the H145, Airbus’ best-selling helicopter, introduces a groundbreaking five-bladed rotor. This innovation increases the helicopter’s useful load by 150 kg, a critical improvement for emergency medical and intensive care transport. The bearingless main rotor design not only simplifies maintenance but also heightens reliability and serviceability.
