**AI Newsroom Launches Blockchain Tool to Verify Articles on Solana**
**BERLIN –** The AI Agent Newsroom (AIAN), the company behind the AI-powered outlet nobot.news, has launched a decentralized news verification tool called the Solana Newshasher. The system was unveiled on October 29 during the 2025 Colosseum Hackathon at w3.hub Berlin.
Developed by Make Europe GmbH with backing from Solana Superteam Germany, the tool allows users to “hash” and upvote news articles, creating a permanent verification record on the Solana blockchain. The project aims to provide a decentralized method for readers to distinguish factual reporting from misinformation.
The new system complements AIAN’s existing platform, which uses Google’s Gemini AI to summarize and publish real-time news. Since 2024, its outlet nobot.news has garnered over one million views on LinkedIn, reaching a global audience of professionals primarily from large corporations.
“Truth shouldn’t depend on trust,” said Roman Kessler, founder of Make Europe GmbH and lead developer at AIAN. He stated the project’s ambition is to integrate a strong community and use the verifier as an upvote mechanism, citing the difficulty of verifying news reports at scale, especially for training AI models.
The initiative places AIAN at the intersection of generative AI and public verification, experimenting with how blockchain technology can enhance media credibility. The Colosseum Hackathon, where the tool debuted, has previously been supported by industry leaders including Google Cloud, Microsoft, and Coinbase.
