VIENNA, Austria — Claus Ehrenbeck took over as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations at Wienerberger AG on September 15, 2026.
Wienerberger said in an emailed press release today that Ehrenbeck will manage the company's investor relations activities and capital market communications. He reports directly to Dagmar Steinert, Wienerberger's Chief Financial Officer.
Leadership Appointment
Ehrenbeck succeeds Therese Jandér in the role. Interim CEO Gerhard Hanke stated that Ehrenbeck's experience in investor relations and international background will help deepen dialogue with global capital markets. Hanke added that earning investor trust is essential for the company's long-term growth strategy.
Ehrenbeck's Background
Ehrenbeck holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from Heidelberg University and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University (TH) of Karlsruhe. He began his career as an equity analyst at HypoVereinsbank AG.
His experience includes roles at DVFA GmbH, AIXTRON AG, and HOCHTIEF AG. Ehrenbeck spent nearly 20 years as Head of Investor Relations at thyssenkrupp AG. Before joining Wienerberger, he worked as an independent consultant, advising on IPOs and investor relations.
