STUTTGART, Germany — Porsche Automobil Holding SE welcomed the Volkswagen AG supervisory board’s unanimous approval of a comprehensive “Future Plan 2030” on Thursday.
The plan lays the foundation for strengthening Volkswagen’s competitiveness, substantially reducing costs, and sustainably improving profitability, Porsche SE said in an emailed press release today. Volkswagen will also continue to invest in products, technologies, and markets, Porsche SE said.
Volkswagen’s Future Plan
The Volkswagen AG supervisory board unanimously approved the Group executive board’s proposal for the future plan at its meeting. The decision demonstrates that jointly supported solutions are possible even in times of far-reaching change, according to Porsche SE.
