JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Legal sports wagering officially went live in Missouri on Monday, December 1, 2025, making it the 39th state to legalize the practice, according to VSiN.

The statewide launch allowed sports betting operators, including Circa Sports, to begin accepting wagers via mobile applications.

To mark the occasion, Circa CEO Derek Stevens and company executive Mike Palm traveled to Missouri for the first day of legal betting.

Their presence highlights the significance of the state’s entry into the national sports wagering market as operators vie for customers in the newly opened territory.

The launch allows Missouri residents and visitors aged 21 and over to place bets on a wide range of professional and collegiate sporting events.
