Holcim has acquired ZinCo, a leader in advanced green roofing systems, to expand its range of sustainable roofing solutions. ZinCo’s expertise in urban farming, stormwater management, and biodiversity complements Holcim’s existing roofing business and its mission to lead the transition to sustainable building. The acquisition is part of Holcim’s goal to expand its Solutions & Products business and enter attractive segments of construction. Holcim aims to decarbonize building and improve living standards while offering low-carbon and circular solutions. The company is becoming a net-zero company with 1.5°C targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative.
